As a condition of winning the international OMGfund competition in 2022, our world first aircrete dome home was exclusively listed for holiday let on the Airbnb website for 12 months. This truly unique home built by sculptor Cath Wild was one of four Australian winners of the Airbnb OMGfund prize and is a true testament to her tenacity, ingenuity, and creative flair. Cath is also the first person in the world to achieve council permission to build a home from aircrete. It took three years to complete the dome build and fit it out, including hand making the 6000 aircrete bricks to make the shell structure.
